Warranty information

What we can say today about warranty on our framing, and what is still being confirmed.

Current position

Warranty provider, duration, coverage, exclusions and any coastal-environment requirements are being confirmed. We have deliberately not published a warranty term, because a number on a website that is not backed by a document is worse than no number at all.

What a warranty will depend on

When it is published, warranty coverage for light gauge steel framing is expected to depend on factors including the following.

  • The steel coating class specified for the project
  • The corrosion environment of the site, including coastal and marine exposure
  • Correct fastener selection and use
  • Protection of cut edges
  • Correct storage on site before assembly
  • Correct detailing and installation to the supplied drawings
  • Any maintenance or inspection requirements that apply

What we will provide in the meantime

Every quotation sets out what is supplied, what is optional and what is excluded. Manufacturing and erection drawings, component labelling and storage instructions are supplied with each order.

If warranty matters to your decision

Tell us at enquiry stage. We will give you the current position in writing rather than have you rely on a web page.

Before publication

TBC: confirm warranty provider, duration, coverage, exclusions and coastal-environment requirements before publication. Until confirmed, no warranty figure appears anywhere on the public site.
